I just recently bought a new 40 inch large screen LCD television and have been making it an issue to revisit some of my favourite films in the larger format. One of the films I decided to watch was Tamara’s LITTLE CHENIER and may I say, it’s a masterpiece. It’s not on the grand scale as say Kubrick’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, but it has the same elements in its ability to transform you to a place where as we all know, no longer survives. The film is beautifully shot and the acting is so understated and rich. Of course, Tamara shines as Marie-Louise LeBauve, a troubled woman torn between family honour and her heart for a man she truly loves. Tamara brings to Marie-Louise everything she can in terms of pain, love, devotion. She breaks my heart in this movie. Her scenes with the two men in Marie-Louise’s life encapsulate her as an actress. With Johnathon Schaech as Beaux Dupuis, Tamara shows her passion and heart as she loves with all her heart. With Jeremy Davidson as Carl LeBauve, Tamara shows her reserved side, her ability to say so much with so little movement and facial expression, everything emanating through her eyes. I think my only criticism about the film is with Carl LeBauve’s character. I hate him with a passion. Davidson is too good and giving us a true villian. He’s what I have called a malcontent. I think the end of the film is what would be classed as poetic justice. All in all, I love this movie. I’d put it up there with the likes of a film called SINNER with Nick Chinlund and SMOKE SIGNALS with Adam Beach, two very good films I recommend for the true film buff. I’m still workign on Tamara’s Taylor clips and caps. I want to get all of July done, so that’s what the hold up is. In the meantime, I have Tamara’s first ever film. This is from 1997 where Tamara played Terri’s Secretary in the film SOUL FOOD. Tamara’s only scene is with Vanessa L. Williams and a little boy. Blink and you’ll miss her. Hope you enjoy seeing Tamara’s first ever appearance in a film.

About all the speculation on Tamara’s GH return. Garin Wolf has ended some speculation. He stated that the rumoured Woman or Lady in White is NOT Tamara. So I guess with NuKate already cast in Kelly Sullivan and the spec about the aforementioned Woman in White being put to rest, looks like the only rumour not being quashed is the one where Tamara reclaims her role as Carly. My feeling here is that the announcment will come after Labour Day. Why? I think this delay in the announcing Tamara’s definite return has to do with her continuing to air as Taylor on DOOL.

Update on the screencaps and clips: I’m still in the process of getting things caught up. I’m currently building another site for another actor I love and I want to finish that before I get what I do have done up. That will hopefully be the weekend. I’ll keep you posted.

A friend sent me this scan of Tamara with her former AMC co-star Chrishell Stause (Amanda Dillon). The reason I’m posting this is, if anyone remembers when Tamara tweeted she had to go and get her hair coloured. Well this shows her hair isn’t that different from her look as Taylor. Some new press additions for you. I have the latest edition of ABC SOAPS IN DEPTH where GH executive producer, Jill Farren Phelps, denies Tamara is returning to GH. Yeah Jill, be more convincing. I also have two other things that have been backlogged. I still have a ton of stuff to get up in the press section and the scans in the gallery but…. Enjoy. There is a post over at the SoapCentral board, a poll actually, asking who you would like to see Tamara return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as. So far Carly is winning, though the anti-Tamara forces are winning…slightly. It also seems any positive thread about Tamara is deleted in support to LW and her verison of Carly. If you have an account there, please go to the link I’ll supply and vote for our girl for as long as the post remains up. If you want to post something positive about Tamara, please do. Be courteous and explain why Tamara is needed back on the show. It can only help.

According to actor Derk Cheetwood (Max on GENERAL HOSPITAL) who has a friend inside the writing staff at GH, Garin Wolf has a whole list of people he is going to be bringing back….. Wonder if our girl is one of them?

Well, June 2011 is finally done and added. It took me a good portion of the night to get things uploaded and added to the soap media site and the screencaps to the gallery. Sorry it took so long to get done but I think the majority of you know about what happened, so I’m not going to belaver it. I’m going to get to work on July likely tomorrow hoping to have at least the first week or two done over the weekend. Don’t quote me.
