Let me live in my fantasies for a while longer, then I'll change it. I've waited for this for a very long time and, well...what's the harm?

There are a few items Tamara Obscura is currently looking for. Any clips of Tamara's time on GENERAL HOSPITAL. What I'm looking for is HI QUALITY MPEG clips. The reason for the HQ MPEG clips is because I would like to get screencaptures from them. Lesser quality just end up with broken pixels and blurred caps. So, if anyone has any of these of Tamara's tenure from 02 May 2001 - 15 April 2005, please send them in a zip file to WANTED TAMARA BRAUN. If possible, could you please provide the date the clips you're sending were from. It would help in the archiving of them in the gallery.

Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) discusses Tamara's character of Ava and the despirate situation that has landed Hope, Steve, Kayla and Bo as Ava's captives at the Vitali Compound, and Hope shot in the shoulder. It's an interesting insight into Ava's motivations and what Alfonso, herself, says about Ava's reasons for doing the things she has. DAYS: AVA SHOOTS HOPE1
Bo and Kayla are both released from the hospital and immediately try to track down their missing spouses. Meanwhile, at Ava's house, Steve and Hope secretly plot an escape.
An informant tells bo that there's a Vitali family compound nearby, so he and Kayla head there just as Steve and Hope are attempting to make their exit. Unfortunately, they are caught. "That's when Bo and Kayla show up," previews Kristian Alfonso (Hope). and they have guns. Kayla announces that she's the real Mrs. Steve Johnson, which sends Ava into a tailspin.
"Ava feels so betrayed," explains Alfonso. "She's been so duped. And if you go back to the conversations Hope and Ava have had, where Hope said things like, 'Oh, I would never underestimate you. I mean, you're so clever,' Ava feels like she's being slapped in the face. She has once again lost control."
And she doesn't take the betrayal lightly, "Ava grabs the gun that Kayla had walked in with and calls out to Hope. As Hope turns around, boom -- Ava shoots her," says Alfonso. Steve rushes Ava and knocks her out while the others tend to Hope, who is alive, but injured. The foursome is trying to escape when Ava comes to and sets off an alarm. The guards arrive and Ava issues an order: Kill all of them. Steve makes a heartfelt plea to only kill him. Hope then asks Ava to tell everyone why she hates Steve so much. "As crazy as she is, it's the situation and the past that got Ava to where she is today," notes Alfonso. "And who really knows the whole story? In Hope's head, there's much more than has been told. Hope has tried the tactic of being girlfriend/psychiatrist/sounding board/someone who's not reporting to her father to get Ava to open up, so she tries again."
Ava complies, which buys some time for the captives. And despite being shot, Hope doesn't have ill feelings toward Steve's ex. "She's driven by despiration," Alfonso points out. "But I don't think she was born a bad seed. She had to have been a good person for Steve to have loved her. Who knows what really took place, aside from a broken heart?"

GIRL POWER
I just want to say a great big thank-you to the powers-that-be at GENERAL HOSPITAL. I love Laura Wright as Carly, but Sarah Brown [Claudia] could read pages from a phone book and I would still be enthralled. It's been like a dream come true to have Laura and Sarah sharing the same screen. And I love how the GH writers have been able to give longtime viewers a few winks with Claudia and have her story entwined with Carly's. The only thing that could make this any better would be for them to find a way to scoop Tamara Braun from DAYS for another GH role and bring back Vanessa Marcil as Brenda. Talk about a dream team!
