TAMARA OBSCURA QUOTABLES
It was like reading a novel. I remember reading it in bed and laughing out loud, and crying out loud. I fell in love with all that it was. It's about family. It's about loyalty, love, loss. It's about having to make difficult decisions and then dealing with the consequences. It's about life! Tamara Braun -- (on making 'Little Chenier' -- ABC SID 09/13/2005)

WANTED: TAMARA BRAUN
There are a few items Tamara Obscura is currently looking for. Any clips of Tamara's time on GENERAL HOSPITAL. What I'm looking for is HI QUALITY MPEG clips. The reason for the HQ MPEG clips is because I would like to get screencaptures from them. Lesser quality just end up with broken pixels and blurred caps. So, if anyone has any of these of Tamara's tenure from 02 May 2001 - 15 April 2005, please send them in a zip file to WANTED TAMARA BRAUN. If possible, could you please provide the date the clips you're sending were from. It would help in the archiving of them in the gallery.

TAMARA OBSCURA || PRESS || 2008 || 05/20/2008 — SOD | PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
SOAP OPERA DIGEST gives high priase to Tamara for her engaging portrayal of Ava Vitali. Instead of hyperbole, the article should speak for itself. There was also an extra in the magazine. You can go to the link provided and do the quiz about how much you know about the kidnapping story with Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Bo (Peter Reckell), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols).

PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Tamara Braun (Ava, DAYS OF OUR LIVES)
From the get go, ava has been like a rubberband waiting to snap, thanks to the handiwork of the facile Tamara Braun. The actress uses her whole body to convey Ava's emotions—her eyes, which flash when she's angry or dart around when she's sizing up who she's talking to; her voice, which is eerily calm at times, then low and deadly at othere; her hands, that she has trouble keeping still when she's having a manic episode. You never know what she's going to do next, which is what has made her character so facinating to watch.
Ava managed to hold it together for weeks while keeping Hope in captivity, then finally lost it when Kayla appeared and revealed herself to be Steve's wife. After a few days of her cat-an-mouse game, Ava sadly recounted what happened on her and Patch's wedding day to trigger her emotional collapse. "That was the happiest day of my life because I was marrying my soul mate, a man that was meant for me,' she smiled. "Nothing else mattered but us." When Steve tried to explain why he left her at the altar, she began to cry bitter tears, then detailed the beginning of her breakdown. "I thought yo must be playing a game or something, and so I waited and then I realized you weren't coming back," she said, voice breaking. "The next thing I knew, I was in an ambulance being taken to a hospital, where I stayed for—I don't know—quite some time." You couldn't help but feel sorry for Ava, another unwitting victim of Stefano's machinations. A teary Steve apologized, but it wasn't enough. Ava completely fell apart—and Braun didn't hold back—blaming him for ruining her life. And the hardst part for him was that he knew she was right.
Braun's stay in Salem is short-term, which is too bad. In mere months, she has managed to (once again) become one of soap's must-see performers. She will definitely be missed.
