I just wanted to let you know that some exciting news is coming up with Tamara and a project she’s working on. Debby O’Connor, Tamara’s fan club president, has given me permission to post this to her fans. I’ll have some more information when Debby allows me to post it. So keep checking back.

Well, the gifts just keep coming. I managed to get a hold of 13 images of Tamara at the Grammys last night. She just looked … it’s hard to find the words to describe her she’s so awesome. So go ahead and post if you can find any words to describe her.

Also someone at Youtube has posted a video of Tamara arriving at the event last night. While I don’t like these types of ‘gotcha’ moments — call them paparazzi shots — I’m going to post this one because of how amazing Tamara looked.

I finally have some event images for you. Tamara looked just stunning at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala. I’m trying to get a hold of some of Tamara’s other event images from 2011 and some from 2010, but my HI-RES source has dried up. I was lucky to get these. Also I wanted to let you know I’m working on a new layout. This one has been up a long time and I think the site needs a refresher. I’m hoping to have it done by Tamara’s birthday on April 18. Keep your fingers crossed. Hope you enjoy these.

I’d also like to introduce you to one of my newest sites. It’s dedicated to actor Keir Dullea who starred in the 1968 Stanley Kubrick masterpiece 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. The site is called ODYSSEY ~ KEIR DULLEA ONLINE. I hope you come by just to take a look. I know I’m proud of it. I know what you might be thinking, “An old guy! What’s this about?” Yeah, I can see what you’re saying but for me I’ve been an admirer of Keir’s work for some time now. He’s one of the most underrated actors who like Tamara is a Yoga enthusiast having begun doing it back in 1968 and still looks amazing even though he’ll be 76 the end of May. Keir is also classically trained and loves the stage and doing independent films. He’s due to be seen in the indie film ISN’T IT DELICIOUS with his wife, the actress Mia Dillon. So if you’d like to check out a real actor’s work, feel free to click the image below.

There is a ton of speculation on the net that GENERAL HOSPITAL is going to be cancelled and the announcement will be coming as early as March. So here’s the deal there. We all know Ted King is coming back as either Alcazar (I hope) or as Tomas with the news that the Mannings are transferring from Llanview. So here’s what you need to do as Tamara’s fans. Ron Carlivati has a Twitter account. Start bombarding him with requests to bring Tamara back. Here is his Twitter account:

@carlivatiron Twitter. Let’s see what we can do to get Tamara back as Carly and clean up what Guza, Pratt, Phelps, Frons and Wright did to this once great character.

Well, I just got through watching the day-ahead episode of Tamara’s final day on DOOL and I can tell you, they did not kill her off. Taylor lives and has gone off into the Bollywood sunset with Quinn (Bren Foster), Vivian (Louise Sorel) and the newly returned Ivan (Ivan G’Vera). Apparently Ivan is a producer in the lucrative Bollywood film industry and he returned to Salem to reclaim his Madam, Vivian. He has a private plane and along with Ms. Alamain, he’s taking Quinn and Taylor off with him. So Taylor has survived. I have to say, this farewell was way better than Tamara’s first go around as Ava. There is the chance Taylor might return, though considering this so-called ‘new’ path Ken Corday is taking this show on, I doubt it. I think the capper on this departure had to be the final scene Tamara as Taylor had with James Reynolds (Abe Carver). I’ve loved James since I first saw him as Abe back in the 80s, and to have her final scene be with him was sublime but bittersweet. I still think this reboot Corday has launched is a bit premature. All the exits in one fell swoop is a bit too much and to lose such a talent as Tamara is too big a hit. As of tomorrow’s actual NBC network airing, it’ll be my last for DAYS OF OUR LIVES. It’s been a good run, however, Tamara’s presence made the show watchable and for me her final day tomorrow means I’m done. In the coming days I’ll try to get her final months of episodes up in the gallery and in the media section. With not having to record each day it’ll be easier. I also really want to clear all the rough clips off my computer to make some room. So all I can say is this, for all my visitors, stop by Tamara’s TWITTER page and leave her a tweet or two about how much she’ll be missed. I will be doing it right now. Hope to see you soon Tamara. I’m going to miss you each day.

HELP!!!! Okay, a bit too dramatic I know, but appropos. I need some help from my visitors with some of Tamara’s airdates. What I need is the last part of July and all of August and September. I ran afoul of my PVR and it didn’t record some of her appearances. So if anyone could post her dates or email me at nowordneeded@yahoo.ca, that would be a big help. I have the first part of July all done, but … PVR … afoul … you know. Thanks to anyone who answers.

According to the latest edition of SOAP OPERA WEEKLY, Tamara’s last official airdate as Taylor on DOOL has been revised to 22 September 2011. There’s still no word as to the how Taylor will be written off, but I know one thing…I’m going to miss Tamara. She’s been a huge asset to this show over the past few months and I still truly believe TPTB never truly utilized Tamara the way they could have.

I also wanted to give an update as to the caps and clips. What is taking so long is that I’m now ripping all clips to HD format. This means it takes double the time to save. I’m so far about half way through July’s episodes and will be posting them when done.

I just recently bought a new 40 inch large screen LCD television and have been making it an issue to revisit some of my favourite films in the larger format. One of the films I decided to watch was Tamara’s LITTLE CHENIER and may I say, it’s a masterpiece. It’s not on the grand scale as say Kubrick’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, but it has the same elements in its ability to transform you to a place where as we all know, no longer survives. The film is beautifully shot and the acting is so understated and rich. Of course, Tamara shines as Marie-Louise LeBauve, a troubled woman torn between family honour and her heart for a man she truly loves. Tamara brings to Marie-Louise everything she can in terms of pain, love, devotion. She breaks my heart in this movie. Her scenes with the two men in Marie-Louise’s life encapsulate her as an actress. With Johnathon Schaech as Beaux Dupuis, Tamara shows her passion and heart as she loves with all her heart. With Jeremy Davidson as Carl LeBauve, Tamara shows her reserved side, her ability to say so much with so little movement and facial expression, everything emanating through her eyes. I think my only criticism about the film is with Carl LeBauve’s character. I hate him with a passion. Davidson is too good and giving us a true villian. He’s what I have called a malcontent. I think the end of the film is what would be classed as poetic justice. All in all, I love this movie. I’d put it up there with the likes of a film called SINNER with Nick Chinlund and SMOKE SIGNALS with Adam Beach, two very good films I recommend for the true film buff. The selected screencap of Tamara is from the pivotal conclusion of the the film. Enjoy.
