Some new event images from April. Tamara attended the Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Nominee Reception on April 27. In a couple of these images Tamara is pictured with Natalia Livingston who played Emily Quartermain on GENERAL HOSPITAL and who preceded Tamara in the role of Taylor Walker on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

I’m not sure if anyone was aware that Tamara made a guest appearance on the Amazon Prime show BOSCH starring the amazing actor Titus Welliver (Deadwood, Sons of Anarchy, Brooklyn South). I know I forgot to add it to Tamara’s upcoming projects in the sidebar. The reason for that I’ll tell you in a moment. Tamara played the part of Helen Archer, a former ex-military who is also a recovering alcoholic. It was only one scene but she was really good. For those who cannot get Amazon Prime, I have the clip in post for you. Though I would encourage you to go and get a subscription to Amazon Prime to watch the entire series. Now as for the site news (aforementioned reason). I’m planning on a revamp of the layout. I think this one has been up long enough. It’s lasted through Tamara’s three DAYS OF OUR LIVES runs and her ALL MY CHILDREN and I think it’s time for a fresh look on both the main site and the gallery. So please stay tuned for that. In the meantime here are the screencaps and the clip. Edited: I know that the clip is outside the regular post box, but that is just a temporary thing for now. When I upload the new layout it’ll fit in just fine. Thanks for putting up with it for the short-term. Enjoy.

Tamara posted to her official Instagram account a photo of her on a set where he’s emulating Catwoman. However, the interesting part is that she’s dressed in a detective-like outfit replete with a badge and gun. New role? Pilot? Could we finally be getting her in a regular weekly role? Please let the TV Gods be kind to us Tamara fans. Post embed below for those who don’t know how to follow her on any of her various social media accounts.

It’s hard to believe Tamara turns 46 today. She still looks like she’s in her early 20s. I’d love to know what it is she does because I want some of it. I hope you have one of the greatest days ever enjoying the day with friends, a good vintage, the love of family and your little foster dog Frankie. Here’s to you Tamara and so many more.

Sorry the updates have been few, but Tamara doesn’t have anything she’s doing …. as of yet. However, I do have an update for an album and two new sets of event images from April I finally got my hands on. These were very hard to get so please, if you’re going to post elsewhere, please credit back. That’s all I ask.

I just found this on Tamara’s Youtube channel. It’s a video of some of the major parts of Tamara’s play TENNESSEE IN THE SUMMER that she did a couple of years back. Here she plays the part of Woman in this amazing production. She’s all sex and seduction with a good heaping helping of carnality in how she delivers her lines. What I’d kill to see is a production of another Tennessee Williams’ play “Cat on the Hot Tin Roof” with Tamara as Maggie the Cat, then with actor Treat Williams in a production of “Streetcar Named Desire”. Williams (no relation to the playwright) appeared in a stage version of it then went on to do a filmed for television version with Ann Margaret as Blanche DuBois. Tamara would fit both roles of Blanche and Maggie quite well.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Tamara the happiest of days on this day as she celebrates her 45th birthday. Stunningly beautiful as ever and if I may say, never more vibrant. I hope you are having the time of your life wherever you are. Take the day to just kick back and enjoy your day. I’m raising a glass in your honour.

If you don’t mind, I’d like to take this time to do a little back patting. On this day ten years ago TAMARA OBSCURA went online. We’ve come a very long way from our humble beginnings as a lonely, know-nothing webmaster. I had just spent five years on WEBTV teaching myself the very basics of HTML and site design. In fact the very first webhost I signed up for had a drag and drop editor with a “fill in this form” for the site to go live. I’ve learned so much since then and now ten years later I’m ten years older and ten plus sites richer…plus some fanlistings along the way. I took a capture from the Wayback Machine to see what we looked like back then, and posted below is that capture. I think we look a little decidedly different now. And I think my web skills have improved. I can even hand code now! A triumph of the will. I’m hoping that for as long as you’ll have me and Tamara keeps that magic coming, we’ll be here for the long haul. As I said do you mind if I pat myself on the back a little….. Ah hell, let’s have a back slapping time. I want to send out a personal thank you to Hurley for her generosity in handing over to me her hard work at what was EVE. Secondly I want to thank you, my visitors who have come here and continued to support me and the work I offer. My gratitude is beyond words. Most of all I want to thank the one person who made this all possible. And that person is the one and only Tamara Braun. It is my honour to keep this site up as a dedication to your gracious spirit and your immense talent, beauty and grace. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and to make this site for you. Thank you Tamara…. just thank you!
