10/19/2009: Tamara returns to her recurring role of Renee Ellen on the TNT Show SAVING GRACE in the Summer of 2010.
There are a few items Tamara Obscura is currently looking for. Any clips of Tamara's time on GENERAL HOSPITAL. What I'm looking for is HI QUALITY MPEG clips. The reason for the HQ MPEG clips is because I would like to get screencaptures from them. Lesser quality just end up with broken pixels and blurred caps. So, if anyone has any of these of Tamara's tenure from 02 May 2001 - 15 April 2005, please send them in a zip file to WANTED TAMARA BRAUN. If possible, could you please provide the date the clips you're sending were from. It would help in the archiving of them in the gallery.

Shortly after returning from Louisiana and filming LITTLE CHENIER, Tamara auditioned for and won the part of Rose, a quirky baker who opens up a shop just down the street from the restaurant run by Freddie Moreno (Freddie Prinze Jr.) in the ABC sitcom FREDDIE. In what was supposed to be just a two parter, Tamara found out she'd become recurring. Had FREDDIE gone to a second season as it had been expected to, Tamara was asked back for season two due to the strong favourable reaction to her character.

ABOUT "FREDDIE"
Produced by Mohawk Productions Inc in cojunction with Warner Bros. Inc., FREDDIE told the story of a successful chef Freddie Moreno (Freddie Prinze Jr.; Boston Legal, Scooby Doo, Frasier & Friends) who owned a trendy upscale restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. Freddie's life is turned literally upside down when his apartment becomes clogged with all the women in his life. His sister Sofia (Jacqueline Obradors, A Man Apart, NYPD Blue & Deuce Bigalo: Male Gigalo), fresh from a borken marriage, along with her 13 year-old daughter Zoe (Chloe Suazo) come to live with him. Life is further complicated when his sister-in-law Allison (Mädchen Amick, Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Viva Laughlin, Joey, ER, Sleepwalkers & Central Park West), still stinging from the recent death of Freddie and Sofia's brother, also comes to roost in the small apartment along with Freddie's cagey Grandma (Jenny Gago, Knots Landing, The X-Files & The Agency) who refuses to speak anything but Spanish, yet everyone can understand her perfectly. Added to the mix, Freddie's childhood friend Chris (Brian Austin Green, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Beverly Hills: 90210 & Knots Landing), independently wealthy and not too quick on the uptake, lives across the hall and is always willing to extoll somekind of 'advice' to his friend.
FREDDIE aired it's first episode October 12, 2005 on Wednesday night at 8:30 PM, after The George Lopez Show and before LOST. It ran for 22 episodes plus an unaired pilot. FREDDIE featured some pretty funny stories including a love interest for Freddie in Denise (Denise Quiñones), and a guest appearance from FREDDIE's lead-in, George Lopez. According to sources, the show had a go-ahead for a second season in April 2006, however, Variety Magazine confirmed its cancellation in May 2006.
Freddie becomes angered when the guests at his restaurant begin sending back their deserts. When Freddie finds out a new pastry shop has opened down the block, he and Chris set out to find out what this new shop has to offer and why his guests are so inclined to visit ....
Freddie and Chris have had a falling out over Freddie's intentions to date Rose. Once Freddie devises his plan to date Rose without hindering his and Chris' long-standing 'veto' of dating each others former girlfriends, Freddie finds out he's the one who's been duped ....
Freddie has discovered that he and Denise share a lot in common and after some much needed wooing, Denise agrees to get back with him. Unbeknownst to Freddie, Rose has come back to town ....
Surprised to see Rose again after their last meeting, Freddie sets out, with Chris' help, to date both women. However, things may not be as easy at it seems ....
