These are late again, I know. So much for ‘day ahead’ clips and caps. Problem is with recording two episodes of DAYS a day plus having to record and clip and cap up ONE LIFE TO LIVE with Ted King and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS witn Stephen Nichols I get a tad bit behind in doing each days work. Still haven’t streamlined the process any. That’s me though. I’ll be back later with the media for today (USA) episode and I won’t make you wait for Monday’s (Canada) episode.

The goddesses must hate me! Ahhhhh I’m resilient, that and an infraction from a certain message board for not posting something in the “spoiler” tag. Imagine my shock! In all my life I’ve never seen anything so stilly, and I’ve been around the twist a couple of times.

Did you miss me? For some not likely…for others who have written me to ask if I’m okay, thanks for that. It’s appreciated. Sorry for the lack of updates, but with Tamara back on DAYS on a regular basis, Stephen Nichols and Ted King on their respective soaps almost as regularly as Tamara, the work has piled up. I’ve had to tackle what I can when I can. Also, I mentioned in another post that I’ve had problems with what to do about the day ahead clips and trying to streamline things so it doesn’t become so overwhelming…. Well, I think I’ve found a way to cut the time I’m spending on caps and clips in half. I’ve also been trying to figure out what to do about the day ahead Canadian episodes. I hate the shoddy screencaps from the non-digital station that shows DAYS OF OUR LIVES at 3:00 PM weekdays — Global Calgary — and would prefer to keep to the digital HD version of on-the-day episodes US. The screencaps and the clips are far better quality. So here’s what I’ve decided, I will be recording both HD-digital at the regular 1:00 PM airtime on the NBC feed, and the day ahead airing at 3:00 PM Global feed from Calgary. I will only be taking screencaps and the permanent clip from the NBC HD-digital feed only. I have set up a special channel on the Tamara Soap Operas media site for these clips, however, they will only be available for one day until the US airing. Those day ahead clips will be replaced by the better NBC feed as the permanent archive for the episodes. So if you want to watch them, you have to get them before I delete them and add the HD-digital feed as the clip on record. I also will not be putting up the embed into the post as I’ve done before. It’ll get too confusing to keep track of which is which. I’ll be tagging the day ahead clips in the post I make so you know which it is you’re viewing. So I hope that’s all clear. If not, let me know in the comments and I’ll try to clarify it as best I can. Without further adieu, here is the backlog in episodes and screencaps.
Oh, one more thing. I’ve noticed that people have been making fan art from my screencaps and crediting only the creator of the fan art. Well, I’d like a little credit for providing the medium for this fan art to be done. I’m not trying to be bitchy about it, but just that one credit would be a nice gesture.

Glitch, glitch, glitch…. Apologies abound for these being late. With doing sort of double episodes both day ahead and on-the-day clips/caps, I have two episodes to record and then convert. So sorry this took me so long to get up, but I had a personal issue come up just as I was going to work and for some reason both my editing software and the program I use to upload to my sites crashed. They’re both fixed and working better. I also had another issue when capping up Tamara’s debut episode. I had wanted to have a clean copy in terms of HD so I could screencap, however, the show I recorded didn’t key in until about half way into the opening, thus I couldn’t get screencaps from it. I then decided to get the beginning from the clip I uploaded yesterday for those scenes where Tamara first came in. I then continued on with the better quality ones. It’s a mixed bag today. The clip is from the Canadian day ahead version.

Here is Tamara’s first official day as Taylor. I’m not going to be doing screencaps today because starting tomorrow (her actual American debut date) I’m going to be only providing HQ clips and caps. I don’t yet have the 720ppi device to do actual widescreen and HQ caps. But I do have the ability to cap and clip from an analog recording that has better resolution than the current one on the channel I recorded this from. While a good quality clipwise, not so good capwise. Hope you understand. I want the best here. So here without further delay is what you’ve been waiting for.
