A note about Tamara’s SUPERNATURAL episode. I know I put up the notice about it being on. Apparently it wasn’t. Bummer. The episode was listed on my cable programming guide. I was really looking forward to seeing her in it. Again, bummer. Good news though, you can purchase the season eight BluRay/DVD/ULTRAVIOLET version now. Click on the BluRay cover below.
I was finally able to get a hold of these. They’re four stills from Tamara’s role as Ronnie Santino on NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. Special thanks to Raina for her kindness. Most appreciated Raina. Here’s hoping Ronnie makes a second appearance. I’d love to see Tamara back.
[004] STILLS: NECESSARY ROUGHNESS – E2X14 THE FALL GUY
In lieu of the new season of SUPERNATURAL coming up in October, The CW (United States) and CHCH (Canada) is re-airing Tamara’s episode Trial & Error on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Check you local listings for the time since we all live in different timezones. This episode was so funny and Tamara was so good in it as the sagacious Cindy Cassity. I loved how wry she was, particularly when she told her father to “Get Cancer and die.” I also thought it funny when she told Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), “Hey, Ken Doll. Fill it up,” when referring to her half-filled wine glass. And who can forget, “Hello, auto-tune!” Tamara obviously got the humour of this show. Please be sure to watch it.
For Tamara’s fans in Canada, you can see her episode of SUPERNATURAL replayed on Sunday, 17 February 2013 at 8:00 PM and at 5:00 AM, early Monday morning at the following times:

SHAW Direct: 528 or 275
Bell TV: 627 or 1748
If you are on any other provider, please check your guides.
All I can say is that Tamara was a whole ball of fun in this episode. I adored her as Cindy Cassidy who is as Tamara described her, “A washed up country singer who has quite a contentious and sassy relationship with her father. One of three sisters, I played the firecracker.” And did she ever. The only issue I have with Cindy is that she called my Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), “Ken doll.” Too funny. For some background information on the episode I thought I’d give you a crash course on SUPERNATURAL‘s history. Someone attached to the Cassidy family made a deal with what is known as a Crossroads Demon, someone who can grant any wish, however, you have to sell your soul to them. As a part of the deal you’re granted a ten year reprieve in order to live whatever life you wished for, but as part of the payment when the deal is up, the Crossroads demon comes for you. In the episode it’s revealed that the demon was THE demon of Hell, Crowley played by Mark L. Shepard. For the past four years Crowley has sort of been the Big Bad of the show. He’s caused Sam played by Jared Padalecki and Dean Winchester played by Jensen Ackles more than their share of trouble. When the deal comes due the demon sends his/her hellhounds to bring in the deal maker who is then pulled into Hell. It’s not the nicest of deaths but this is Crowley. Want to know the kicker of this episode? Jensen Ackles got his first start on the soap opera DAYS OF OUR LIVES where he played the part of Eric Brady (now played by Greg Vaughan) who had fallen in love with a certain Taylor Raines Walker, then played by Katherine Ellis (August 6, 1998 to May 24, 1999). Of course we all know Tamara went on to play the part. I’m wondering if Tamara mentioned this to Jensen who has gone on record as saying if this SUPERNATURAL thing didn’t work out, he could always go back to the soap. Not now Jensen, and SUPERNATURAL has just been renewed by the CW for a ninth season. Lucky for us fans. Now onto the irony of this situation. You know my love for Mitch Pileggi and how I want Tamara and Mitch to do something together? Well Mitch once played Sam and Dean’s grandfather, Samuel Campbell. A further six degrees is that this coming week on Mitch’s show DALLAS, Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy) goes on trial for attempting to murder Mitch’s character Harris Ryland. Why is it six degrees? The name of the episode is called…you guessed it Trial and Error. You can’t make this stuff up.
