Here is the Emmy Night roundup. Sorry I didn’t have these up last night. I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately, and just kind of went to be feeling a little more euphoric than I likely would have. I’m so proud of Tamara. She was humble as always in accepting her award, and I loved she didn’t have anything prepared. It must have been the night for improv reactions. Vincent Irrizary and Darin Brook’s ‘f-bomb’ was just what old-style awards shows used to be about. The spontineity of them all. But in the end, Tamara’s now in a different realm. With that little guy in her possession, the sky’s the limit. I couldn’t be happier that her mother Reneta was there with her. Fitting she’s been with Tamara throughout all the successes. A special shout out to Tamara’s mom for raising such a wonderful daughter. And thank you Tamara for making my night. I’ve got watermarked images from various news photographic sites for you. I might have some HI-RES ones a bit later. I’ll post anew when I get them. I have video of the entire night with Tamara vis a vi OBSCURE MEDIA. Enjoy.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can hardly wait to see Tamara on the red carpet tomorrow night. I have my fingers, toes, eyes and tongue crossed for her. I’ve even asked my partner and my mom and my mom’s cat to cross whatever they have for our girl. I’d like any of Tamara’s fans who stop by to post a good luck message to her. Anything as long as it’s positive. I’ll be on tomorrow with as up-to-date information as I can. I’ll even try to have some hot off the presses photos of Tamara and her dress. Next: I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning up of the press section. I’m making it sleeker to go with the new layout. I’ve also added new headers to the individual pages. I hope to add more new articles later on tonight. Lastly, I have been trying to get Tamara’s soap opera work on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and ALL MY CHILDREN up-to-date. I’ve got the raw clips on several external devices, so it’s been difficult getting things done. I’m also trying to get the other sections of this site completed. Please bear with me. The muse struck and I was working on some livejournal and buddy icons this weekend. Or should I say, trying my hand. I’ve never really done these before…at least to the extent I’ve done on these. It was fun. I was just in touch with Jason Olson the writer of LEAVE BAD ENOUGH ALONE, and apparently this isn’t a completed film. Rather, it’s a teaser trailer only, shot by Jason on his own money from his own script. The teaser was shot in order to interest any film companies that would be willing to finance the completed film. Jason needs the money to film this in HD. He told me that so far, only Tamara and actor Norman Reedus are signed to the extended project. According to Olson he needs about 200-250K to finance it. Right now I’m trying to think of anything I can to help this project out. If any of Tamara’s fans have any ideas, please post.

I know what you’re saying, “She’s gone and changed the layout….AGAIN!” Thing is, this is the way I’ve always wanted TAMARA OBSCURA and OBSCURE MEDIA to look. Crisp and elegant as befitting Tamara’s style. I thought the green tones were a little overpowering. I wanted something that made all three elements of this site as a more cohesive element. I hope you like it, I know I do. It’s also a celebration of sorts at OBSCURE MEDIA. I have uploaded the 100th video and thought I’d post it here on the homepage to let you see what it is. I put together a special of the New Year’s episode from 2002, the black and white flashback to the 1920s where Tamara played the Young Catherine to Gloria Stuart’s (“TITANIC”) older version in what I’m calling SPEAKEASY OF FATE. It’s the one where Carly was setting up The Cellar with Ric in the basement of Kelly’s. Anyways, I won’t give anything more away for those who haven’t seen it. I hope you enjoy.

So sorry that these are late, but there’s been a lot going on in my life of late. My mom’s not been to good and I’ve been taking care of her. Here are the screencaps and media for Tamara’s latest outing as Renee Ellen on SAVING GRACE. I have also heard that the show has been cancelled. You can read it over at TVREMOTECOM. Seems the hour-long drama is going by was of the Edsel and the albatross. Seems our girl can’t get a break. With FREDDIE being cancelled after its first season, and now SAVING GRACE, I”m hoping Tamara gets something else…soon! I was able to find some stills of Tamara as Anya in the upcoming Tom Pankratz film LIMBO LOUNGE. All I can say is that she looks positively amazing. I love the look she has. Totally unlike any of ther other film characters, or for that matter, her episodic television work. I’m so looking forward to this film. I truly do think that Tamara’s going to show us something different than she’s played before. I can honestly say I’m hoping this is out on DVD soon. I know I won’t be able to see it in Canada.
