Tamara and Lucas (Noah Newman) are really doing great on this storyline. I love their chemistry and can’t wait to see what happens next. Included in the clip is the preview for next week. No Sienna. Also included is a Christmas message from Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) on behalf of the show.
I’m just going to say it, I love Sienna and I’m loving this new chemistry between Tamara and Lucas (Noah Newman). Toward the end of Tamara’s run on DAYS OF OUR LIVES they’d sort of forgot to write for her. Same with Lucas as Tripp Johnson. By taking Tripp away from Ava, she became a bit of a flailing limb. This was so nice to see THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS actually respecting both of them and writing such a great storyline with them. The one thing though is, can Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) just get off of Sienna’s case already?
This is the beginning of the combined clip. I tried to keep the watermarks as unobtrusive as possible, but I still wanted to tag them as coming from either site as I’ve had my clips taken and used elsewhere without credit. The process went a little easier this time. The only thing I still have to figure out is the recording device I use. Still glitchy. And I’m going to say it. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is getting on my nerves. Her holier-than-thou attitude when it comes to Sienna is cringy.
I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve been trying to streamline this process a bit so I don’t get worn out when it comes to getting the screencaps and clip out to you sooner. From this point forward instead of trying to separate Tamara and Lucas’ (Noah Newman) individual sites, I’m going to just do one clip of both even if they’re alone or with someone else in the scene when they’re not together. I hope you understand. Also I’m going to make a joint watermark so I don’t have to do two passes on the video. It was nice to see Noah back home and without the steri stitches on his face, though I’d like to know how he recovered so well in just a plane ride. And where did all of them get the fresh clothes, especially Sienna? **deep breath**It’s a soap opera….**exhale** To add, will Victor (Eric Braeden) back off already? Honestly man! This girl has been through enough.
I’ve been a fan of Eric Braeden’s since watching The Rat Patrol way back in the 1960s. My dad used to watch the show and I guess at that very young age, I had a very basic idea of the show about the real-life LRDP or the Long Range Desert Group led by the British Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery in the North African Campaign against German troops led by Field Marshall Erwin Rommell. Eric’s character was Captain Hans Dietrich, then Eric went by his birth name, Hand Gudegast. Growing up on 70s era episodic television, Eric would show up and I knew I was going to get something good from him whether he be the villain of the episode, or other. Having adored the film Colossus: The Forbin Project where Eric played the part of Dr. Forbin, and as the dastardly Dr. Otto Hasslein who gunned down both Zira (Kim Hunter) and Cornelius (Roddy McDowall) in Escape from the Planet of the Apes, Eric has left quite the impression on me. It was to my delight seeing Tamara in a one-on-one scene with Eric in this episode. And did she hold her own. Both are Aires (Tamara born 18 April) and Eric (03 April), you could see the fiery back-and-forth between them. When Tamara is ‘on it,’ her eyes take on a volcanic crackle where you know she’s on her game. Excellent work Tamara. By the way, this is the Canadian day ahead episode. Or should it be, two days?
Second post. I know this is going to not be popular among some THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS fans, but I’m going to say that I’m loving this new dynamic between Tamara and Lucas as Sienna and Noah. The idea of an older, strong woman with a younger man is about time. They have much older men with quite young women all the time. Why not this?
