Tamara just received a lovely birthday present. She has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Ava Vitali in DAYS OF OUR LIVES. We here at TAMARA BRAUN ONLINE congratulate her and will be actively rooting for her win. Congrats Tamara.

TAMARA BRAUN ONLINE is stunned to hear of the death of Tamara’s GENERAL HOSPITAL co-star, Tyler Christopher. As with Rest in Peace Billy Miller, we send our condolences to Tyler’s family, co-workers, and fans. Tyler played the part of Nikolas Cassadine on GHDAYS OF OUR LIVES. Tyler was on during Tamara’s time as Carly Corinthos. I believe they had a few scenes together. This is just too tragic for the GENERAL HOSPITAL community coming on the heels of both Billy Miller’s death, and the death of Jacklyn Zeman earlier this year.
This should be subtitled, “Everything that could go wrong, usually does.” Looks like Ava and Harris (Steve Burton) are in it deep this time. Though I’m still wondering how an older guy like Edmund Crumb (Adam Cain) could pick up a big guy like Harris? At least we now have positive proof Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is alive. Baby steps.

So the title has to do with a line Tamara says as AVA VITALI that is perhaps the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long while on a soap. I’m really loving Steve as Harris Michaels and how keeps talking Ava down on the ledge much in the way he did as Jason to Tamara’s Carly on GENERAL HOSPITAL. And I’m one thousand percent here for it. I’m also wondering if head writer, Ron Carlivati, is doing what he could never do on GENERAL HOSPITAL and capitalizing on the embarassment of riches he has with the obvious chemistry Tamara and Steve have had since Carly and Jason. I’m remembering the scene where Carly was forcing a suit fitting on Jason before his and Courteny’s (Alicia Leigh Willis) wedding and before Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) kidnapped Carly beginning the Panic Room storyline. I think I’m done strolling down memory lane.

Tamara attended the Project Angel Food’s Angel Awards who prepares and delivers more than 1.5 Million Medically Tailored meals each year, free of charge to homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses. Tamara looks sublimely sophisticated and just lovely in this pantsuit. Also, Tamara’s latest DAYS OF OUR LIVES screencaps and media will be up this weekend. I had a problem with an external drive I keep all my clips and screencaps on and I had to fix it. That’s what has put me behind. Sorry for that.

Okay three words: Steve Burton Onesie. I really could go for Ava and Harris (Steve Burton) as a couple. I still want Ava and Steve (Stephen Nichols), but since the Stayla fans would have a kiniption if that ever happened. At least with Harris, Ava would have someone for herself. I just hope they don’t screw this up. It’s time for Ava to have someone who actually wants her. Not like Rafe (Galen Gehring). Bring it on.
