There’s not much in the history of soaps that is worth celebrating, however, today is one of the most monumental moments in soap opera history. On this day nine years ago ALL MY CHILDREN reached an unheard of peak with the first LGBTQ wedding. With the first real “out” character of Bianca Montgomery played by the beautiful Eden Riegel, soap scribe and ALL MY CHILDREN creator Agnes Nixon created for her one of the most controversial soap heroines. It became difficult to tell Bianca’s story without really allowing her the same moments in the story as her fellow characters did in terms of getting married and settling down to have a real family. It wasn’t until 2008 when the show brought on Tamara fresh off of her role as Ava Vitali on DAYS OF OUR LIVES to play the character of architect Reese Williams who would sweep Binx off her feet and make an honest woman out of her. The nuptials of these two characters made for one of the most history making moments in television history with finally acknowledging the relevance of same-sex couples in a medium that only acknowledged the classic heterosexual unions. I choose to forget what came after since it was sacriledge what was done to Reese and Bianca. Instead I choose to focus in on the incredible moments in television. So here’s to Tamara Braun and Eden Riegel. Thank you for braving to bring us something that is of historic value, showing it is not wrong to love someone who is of your own sex. In fact it’s, well…. normal. What a wonderful moment to remember. Thank you Tamara and thank you Eden.

Finally got those computer issues figured out and was able to get the work done. Here’s Tamara’s episode for now yesterday. While I liked the scenes with Drew (Billy Miller), I’m still getting a Carly feel from how Tamara is playing “Kim”. I keep seeing Tamara as a single Carly raising Morgan on her own.
We got our one episode a week quota with Tamara today. Don’t know about you but I’m getting tired of this serious lack of story for her. Do they not know they have Tamara Braun on this show? Today on Twitter Tamara praised the work of Michelle Stafford (Nina). I asked when we’ll be getting from her the quality of story like The Panic Room. She didn’t answer. Though we’re in for a treat tomorrow. Tamara will be live tweeting during the show. So wherever you are please make sure you’re here tomorrow and you’ll get to talk to Tamara.
I’ve completed clipping and uploading Tamara’s episodes of DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Ava Vitali from March 2008. It’s been a tough go getting all these clips together and straightened out. Having moved computers at least twice since 2008 I’ve had to save my data to three separate external drives, and I’ve had a hard time finding all complete episodes. The original episodes were pretty badly clipped up as I was doing all that work on Windows Movie Maker. I’ve since bought a new program that makes the clips much cleaner as you’ve seen from her current work as Kim Nero on GENERAL HOSPITAL. There might be some glitches in the editing due to trying to get them done. I know there’s one with a bit of a commercial with a cute animated bunny. But then who doens’t love animated bunnies. Enjoy.

Here finally is the media for Tamara’s last episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL. So sorry this was so late but my host finally got on their game and fixed what was wrong in the “back end”.
