As some of you likely know I’ve finally updated Tamara’s GENERAL HOSPITAL episodes I missed while my computer was sick. It’s all fixed now, in fact it’s practically been rebuilt so it’s a brand new machine. I had to reload everything on it including my capping and clipping programs, plus my Photoshop for creating the graphics for the video and main sections. All episodes are now caught up as well as the caps in the gallery. I’m going to be posting something after Christmas I had wanted to say before my computer went on the fritz. For now I want to wish all of Tamara’s fans the Merriest of Christmases and hope your holiday is full of family, friends and happiness. Please remember if you’re going to be drinking please do not drive. Make sure you have a designated driver or someone to come and get you. We want you safe and secure.

Not much for you today. I’m just getting back up to speed on things including reloading my computer after its unfortunate melt-down. It’s pretty much a new machine since they had to replace almost everything. So it’s basically been rebuilt. It’s running smoother than it has in ages. I’m just in the process of getting all my programs reinstalled that I need in order to cap, clip and edit. I’m hoping to have all Tamara’s GENERAL HOSPITAL work up hopefully by Sunday. Given Monday is Christmas I’ve got most of my shopping done and only a few gifts to wrap, so I’m hoping to work on clips and such Saturday, Keep an eye out. As for this post, I have thanks to a good friend Jasper who has a wonderful tribute site to the late actor Anton Yelchin, I have four stills from Tamara’s telefilm STALKED BY MY EX where she played the part of Chloe. I wasn’t able to catch it, but I’m hoping to soon. If I’m not online before Monday, here’s wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Remember if you’re going to be driving either take a taxi or use a designated driver.
Here are today’s clip and screencaps from Tamara’s episode. I gotta admit I’m still having a hard time buying her as Kim when all the time I see her I want her so much to be Carly. My main issue with this is that she should be playing Carly. Comments welcome.
Sorry for the delay but I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday and was very tired when I got home. I had to clip up the episode twice because the quality of the first clip wasn’t what I want for the site. The second one is so much better. Hope you agree.
Early bird catches the worm? Told you I’d have the clip and caps up early. Don’t I always deliver? Don’t answer that. So when do we finally call Tamara’s character Carly? She adopted the infamous Carly Hand-on-Hip stance today. All the while I was watching I was still thinking of her as Carly. Seeing her with Rebecca Herbst as Liz I’m still reminded very much of The Panic Room from 2003. I’m also wondering if and when Tamara’s story finally picks up. Within two weeks of her original premiere as Carly from 2001, she was in the thick of things. Here we are six appearances in, about two weeks and we’ve pretty much gotten nothing. Tamara has not disappointed but this story line is sort of stalled.
Here finally is Tamara’s episode for today. Sorry it took me so long to get up, but I had dinner to get for my partner and I had a bit of an issue in ripping the clip. So Carly became a doctor! Too bad they didn’t do this back in 2005 when Tamara was making her decision to leave the show. Perhaps she might have been convinced to stay so we’d have a good Carly instead of a regressed soccer mom. Tamara was really rocking that ponytail today. Loved it to pieces. Reminds me of a scene from 2004 where Tamara was wearing a similar ponytail in some scenes with Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos). I have an issue, though with Dr. Kim’s being the one to do the ultrasound on Maxie (Kirsten Storms). I don’t know about anyone else but at a teaching hospital it’s the technicians who usually do the imaging of patients. Rarely if ever does the specialist do the actual history and work. When I went to an OBGYN I never saw her. I had the resident do my endometrial biopsy and botch it so bad I had cramps for at least two or three days after. She didn’t do it well so I had to finally have my family doctor do it. In the whole appointment with the OBGYN specialist I never saw the actual doctor. So again not sure why Dr. Kim was doing the testing. Ah well…… It’s a soap opera.
