Here is Tamara’s first day back at school. I thought that would be a fun way to start out this post since really it is like she’s back where she learned a lot of what she knows now about acting from her “trial-by-fire” playing Carly. Overall it was great to see her back, but I’ll have a lot more to say on this in another post after the American Thanksgiving Holiday. What I have to say isn’t for now, so for now enjoy Tamara’s return. You can find what you need under the links below.

I’ve updated the press section again with some new articles on Tamara’s return to GENERAL HOSPITAL. Like before you can find those at the links provided below. It has been confirmed her character’s name is Kim Nero. I will be posting all screencaps and clips of her episodes so you can keep checking back for those updates.
Still no confirmation of Tamara’s return to GENERAL HOSPITAL. The latest edition of ABC Soaps in Depth carries an article other online publications have been stating of her “imminent” return, though there is still no confirmation from either Tamara or the show. Speculation is that she’s playing a brand new character…. That’ll remain to be seen. I’m only going to give an educated guess here and say Tamara won’t be returning to the show as another character, rather, as Carly. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m so sick and tired of known actors returning to soap operas as characters other than the ones they originated. I’ll cite Tamara’s 2011 return to DAYS OF OUR LIVES not in her Emmy Award Winning role of Ava Vitali but as Taylor Walker and how much of a let down that was. I still cannot watch DOOL and see Josh Taylor as Roman Brady without thinking of him as Chris Kositchek. GENERAL HOSPITAL has currently seen the return of long-time fan favourite Steve Burton who played stone cold Jason Morgan for twenty one years before leaving, then showing up on The Young & The Restless as Dylan McAvoy. Burton left last year and returned to his former role. However, that role is currently being occupied by actor Billy Miller. Burton has said he’s signed a three-year deal. Now we begin the whole “Story of Two Jasons”. Could we possibly be seeing the “Tale of Two Carlys”? There’s been next to nothing said by any of the soap-based media since the original report in September. Either one of two things is happening, 1) the report from Daytime Dirty Laundry was fake, or 2) Current Carly protrayer Laura Wright is leaving and Tamara is coming back, but they don’t want the news out quite so soon. I have the scan of the article uploaded to the gallery and the text added to the press section. To go each section please click on the links below.
I’m calling out to all of Tamara’s fans who have clips of her soap roles. I’ve set up a video site for Tamara’s work. I’m going to be adding her soap opera work very slowly due to the sheer volume of work she contributed to GENERAL HOSPITAL, ALL MY CHILDREN and DAYS OF OUR LIVES. I have all of her time on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Ava Vitali from both 2008 and her return 2015/2016. What I have most of her work from ALL MY CHILDREN as Reese Williams, however, I don’t have her final two months. As for Taylor Walker from her DAYS OF OUR LIVES stint from 2011, I don’t have most of her final three months. And for Carly Corinthos on GENERAL HOSPITAL, pretty much all of her time from 2001-2005. While I have her time as Carly on a long running DVD format, I don’t have her individual airdates. So I’m calling out to her fans for those resources if you have them. I’ll include what I need below in terms of specific dates.
- GENERAL HOSPITAL as Carly Corinthos – 06 May 2001 – 15 April 2005
- ALL MY CHILDREN as Reese Williams – March 24 & 27 2009 / April 06, 14, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29 2009
- DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Taylor Walker – July 28 2011 / August 02, 04, 05, 10, 11, 12, 15. 16, 22, 23, 25, 26 2011 / September 01,12, 15, 2011
If you have any of these dates please reply to this post in the comment section by clicking on the post title. We’ll then arrange how you can send me whatever you have. Thanks in advance.
