The last addition is an article on William deVry who plays Julian Jerome on the show. Here he talks about his character, his own life and the fan wars between the #Julexis fans and the ones who want Julian with K(arly)im or as they’re now being called #Kilian. I’ve got some new scans for you and a new article for the press section. The first is from ABC Soaps In Depth where they discuss what’s coming this May during sweeps period. Lots of stuff coming ahead for the show, though not much for Tamara. The one gripe I have is on the cover everyone who is figuring into May Sweeps is featured prominently including Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), Kelly Monaco (Sam Cain), Billy Miller (Drew Cain), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), and Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn), however, Tamara is sort of squished in the back of deVry. She doesn’t really have a “place” quite the way Easton does in that quad. Still not sure they’re actually going to write for her. They haven’t really so far. Not much of our girl today. She’s been missing in action since the 25th of April and this is all we get? I’m going to state again why bring her back to play a character who the writers clearly have no interest is developing beyond just hanging around at Charlie’s and chasing after Julian (William deVry)? The one thing we know now is that I’ve added a new project of Tamara’s to the sidebar. Apparently she’s been off filming a pilot for a new series either for television or streaming a la Netflix. The series is THROTTLE and Tamara’s character’s name is Kate Smith. So far she’s filmed one episode and the pilot is scheduled to air/stream in 2019. I’m going to keep an eye on this title for any new news on it or whether it will go to series. Here’s hoping it does as Tamara looks like she’s a main character. Quite frankly I’d rather see her in a series rather than being wasted on this show. Sorry for being the Debbie Downer but it’s been so frustrating to see her largely play crowd scenes in other people’s stories considering as Carly, Ava, Reese and even Taylor she was driving her own stories. It just seems to me Frank Valentini and the writers wanted her back for her fans eyes, rather than giving her fans what we want.
Some new scans from the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest. There was an ice cream delivery on at the ABC GENERAL HOSPITAL stage. However, due to her lactose intolerance Tamara couldn’t partake. Bummer. There was no article accompanying the photospread so as per usual the scans are in the gallery with no link to the press section.
Tamara looked stunning on the red carpet of the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. I’m hoping to get more images from this event, but here are ten for now. Enjoy.
