You’ve likely noticed there has been a change over at the GALLERY. I updated that database and adopted a modification to the look of the images and the way the thumbnails are displayed. I’m also in the process of trying to get the site updates in terms of press articles and other images to the gallery. Plus, I’m also still trying to come up with a new design for the overall look and feel of the site. That’s been very slow going. I also wanted to let you know, i just recently wrote to Debby O’Connor, Tamara’s fan club president, and she told me so far Tamara doesn’t have anything lined up. I know it’s been a daught of epic proportions with nothing new coming, but I feel that Tamara deserves this time off. Since she left GENARAL HOSPITAL, she’s been working non-stop. She deserves this time. When something comes I was told by Debby she’d let me know and I’ll post here. Yours, Dianne
I know, not much happening on the site, and “What’s with the new design you promised?” Well, it’s coming. I’m having difficulties with the gallery banner. I have the main site banner done … I think. Barring any changes of my rapidly depleting brain cells, I’m hoping to have the new content up this century. I know it’s been a very long time since we saw Tamara at the Emmys, and there have been questions as to where she disappeared to. Well, I found a photo of Tamara and Lisa LoCiero, who currently plays Olivia on GENERAL HOSPITAL, coincidentally shares the same birthday as Tamara and they were coincidentally at the same restaurant together celebrating their days. I have the embed photo of the two of them. Tamara just looks stunning. Glowing in fact. I think this time off has been good for her. Enjoy.
The girls over at the infamous blog PRATT FALLS have made two videos in honour of Tamara’s birthday. I was an aider and abetter in providing them the resources to create their ‘labour of love’. According to LIMBO LOUNGE’s official website, the film will be getting it’s world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, 24 April 2010 at 5:15 PM. Cast and crew will be in attendence. I’m hoping I can get ahold of some images from the premiere. If I do, you’ll find them here. On behalf of TAMARA OBSCURA and OBSCURE MEDIA, I’d like to wish Tamara the happiest of days. She turns 39 today. It’s my hope that Tamara has a wonderful day today with her family and little Barley. Today is also the fourth anniversary of the launching of TAMARA OBSCURA. It had been my hope to have a new layout and such for the main site, gallery and OBSCURE MEDIA, however, family issues have put that on a delay. I am working on getting that rectified. For the past couple of weeks, WE LOVE SOAPS has been compiling a list of their top actresses and actors on the daytime soap. This week, they’ve put together a 50 Greatest Actress Honourable List, and Tamara made it. Click on the link above to see who else is on the list with Tamara. So sorry for the lack of further updates, it’s just there’s no news. Tamara has sort of gone under the wire for the most part. With the exception of LIMBO LOUNGE and her completing her role as Renee Ellen this summer on SAVING GRACE, there really isn’t a lot out there to report. I’m still in the process of updating the GENERAL HOSPITAL section with the screencaps I received from Hurley. I’ve also received EVE’s press section, so I’m also updating the press section here.
