Here are today’s clip and screencaps from Tamara’s episode. I gotta admit I’m still having a hard time buying her as Kim when all the time I see her I want her so much to be Carly. My main issue with this is that she should be playing Carly. I am also having a hard time deciding on whether to write an opinion/commentary piece on why I feel this is so wrong. The reason for the conflict is whether I might offend some of Tamara’s fans for what I might say. Or if I might offend Tamara for what I would have to say. So this is my conundrum. I know for the last few bits I’ve been saying I’ll have something more to say on it, but I’m truly torn as to whether to state my peace or let it go. Comments welcome.

Thanks, Dianne, much appreciated for the clip! Again, the writers have no imagination and continue to recycle stories over and over. If they were going to bring Tamara back to play an entirely new character, why in the world would you start making the backstory in line with Carly’s? I said this in the first post on the 2nd day Kim aired, why are Kim and Drew’s origin just like Carly and Jason’s? Two people who were physically attracted to each other, no commitment, just sleeping together. The only difference is there’s no AJ….yet…

Also, I completely agree with you on seeing Tamara as Carly. She looks just as she did during her last few months in the role in 2005. The dark hair and ponytail really took me back to that time, if only Alcazar could show up. I’m sorry to say, I’m a little bored with Kim right now. I hope they spice things up without making her a villain. I adored Ava Vitali, but I don’t want Kim used to prop up any other couple.

I’ve really begun to love seeing Tamara as Dr. Kim Nero on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and enjoy that while they aren’t forcing her immediately into the front burner, they are also giving her quality material that can potentially grow into something more for both Braun as an actress and Kim as a character. Let’s see what the rest of 2017 has to hold and the beginning of 2018 can give to us!
