Tamara’s first airdate has been revealed by Tamara, herself. It will be October 14, 2025. Her storyline, as Tamara states below, will be with the character of Noah Newman, now being played by Tamara’s DAYS OF OUR LIVES son, Lucas Adams.

Braun will make a bang in Genoa City as Sienna Bacall this fall

Things are moving along for Tamara Braun’s Young and the Restless debut!

In August, PEOPLE exclusively announced that the soap opera legend, 54, was joining The Young and the Restless. Now, new details surrounding the air date have been released.

Braun will make her first appearance on a CBS soap when she steps into the role of Sienna Bacall on Oct. 14, Soap Opera Digest reported Thursday, Sept. 25, citing an interview the two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress did with TV Guide.

PEOPLE previously confirmed that Sienna is someone who has “personal connections to several characters” in Genoa City.

“She runs a club in Hollywood. There’s mystery there, which I think is a really cool way to introduce a character — and very fitting for a soap,” Braun told TV Guide of her latest role.

While additional details for the upcoming season of the long-running soap opera remain under wraps, Young and the Restless executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith told TV Insider earlier this month that core characters will be returning with some twists and turns.

“I’m thrilled and I couldn’t be happier,” Griffith said. “I think that this year, especially, we’ve been able to really home in on the core legacy characters and have them front and center, driving story. We’re really playing to the show’s strengths of family and power and romance and mystery.”

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is among the characters returning to Genoa City this fall.

“Cane’s return has created tension, energy, concern, and action. It’s got everybody percolating, waiting to see what he’s going to do and how it’s going to impact their families and their businesses,” Griffith added.

As for Braun, she’s no stranger to soap opera drama.

The Illinois native’s credits include General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, All My Children and more.

She started her General Hospital run in 2001 as Carly Corinthos, where she remained until 2005. However, she did return for a single episode in 2014 to celebrate the television show’s 51st anniversary. (Sarah Brown played Carly before her, and Laura Wright took over the role after her.)

From 2017 to 2019, she took on the role of Dr. Kim Nero on General Hospital.

Braun also played Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives on and off between 2008 and 2025.

Overlapping with that time, from 2008 to 2009, she played Reese Williams on All My Children.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS (check local listings).

TAMARA BRAUN ONLINE is stunned to hear of the death of Tamara’s GENERAL HOSPITAL co-star, Tyler Christopher. As with Rest in Peace Billy Miller, we send our condolences to Tyler’s family, co-workers, and fans. Tyler played the part of Nikolas Cassadine on GHDAYS OF OUR LIVES. Tyler was on during Tamara’s time as Carly Corinthos. I believe they had a few scenes together. This is just too tragic for the GENERAL HOSPITAL community coming on the heels of both Billy Miller’s death, and the death of Jacklyn Zeman earlier this year.

So the title has to do with a line Tamara says as AVA VITALI that is perhaps the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long while on a soap. I’m really loving Steve as Harris Michaels and how keeps talking Ava down on the ledge much in the way he did as Jason to Tamara’s Carly on GENERAL HOSPITAL. And I’m one thousand percent here for it. I’m also wondering if head writer, Ron Carlivati, is doing what he could never do on GENERAL HOSPITAL and capitalizing on the embarassment of riches he has with the obvious chemistry Tamara and Steve have had since Carly and Jason. I’m remembering the scene where Carly was forcing a suit fitting on Jason before his and Courteny’s (Alicia Leigh Willis) wedding and before Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) kidnapped Carly beginning the Panic Room storyline. I think I’m done strolling down memory lane.

It’s gotta be said, that was the worst escape I think I’ve seen on a soap opera. Where was all the extra security. It’s supposed to be an asylum. It also has to be said, I’m not liking this version of EJ. Dan Feuerriegel is an amazing actor, and I do like his version, however, the blatant inconsistencies in the storyline is very jarring. What I mean is that EJ was very sympathetic to Ava back in 2008 when James Scott played him. Do the writers forget he was Ava’s lawyer? I do hope Ava and Harris (Steve Burton) do become an item. Though I’m still seeing Carly and Jason. Is it okay to want them back on GENERAL HOSPITAL playing those roles? Oh, and there’s a commercial for the series Chesapeake Shores in the video. The reason is because I couldn’t bear to leave it out. The late actor, Treat Williams who just passed this June 12, is in it. He played the part of family patriarch, Mick O’Brien. Yes, I did put that in the title. Tamara sure was getting traction out of that coffee stir stick. She knows how to work her scenery and I’m here for all of it. I’m going to say I just adored Tamara and Steve Burton (Harris Michaela) today. They were magnetic to watch, as they were as Carly and Jason on GENERAL HOSPITAL. If not for Sonny (Maurice Benard), Carly and Jason would have been a good paring. We all know though, Sonny will always be Carly’s true love no matter what anyone else says.

The first of Tamara’s return to DAYS OF OUR LIVES in her Emmy winning role of AVA VITALI. I love Tamara’s scenes so far with her old GENERAL HOSPITAL partner in crime, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) here playing the part of Harris Michales. I don’t know whether it’s because of their comfort with each other given their history on GH as Carly and Jason, but the chemistry is off the charts. Welcome back Tamara, and nice to see you again Steve.

So going forward: I know I slacked off during Tamara’s last run as Ava. For me it was the fact they were pigeon-holing her into just “Crazy Ava,” and not actually writing for her. I still remember where she was in August of 2008 when Ava left Salem, and I hate it when they don’t write a consistent character. Also making her responsible for beloved characters’ deaths is not something I really want to see. I know it’s part and parcel of the soap genre, but when it’s a deliberate thing to deliberately write her into a corner, I check out. Also the device I used to capture stopped working and my ability to get daily episodes disappeared. I have a new way of recording now, and screencapping is a bit easier now. As long as Tamara’s story is good and it doesn’t become overwhelming again, I will be sticking with it. Also to note, screencaps are now in ultra hd, that means the clip is also in UHD. So that’s a plus.

Now onto the clips: I know the media section is not displaying or working right. I’m in the process of investigating why. Until that time instead of posting acreencaps from each episode with a link to the video, I’ll just be posting the video…for now. I will let you know when the media section is fixed and you can begin watching videos again. My apologies for the inconvenience.
