I know it’s been a long time no see. I also know the site for a long time was basically in a jumbled mess in terms of pictures not showing in the gallery, videos not playing, the media section down completely, the press section not working, etc. Last year I was informed by my former host that my account would be terminated due to how large this and other sites of mine grew to. This despite the fact I was paying them for the space. I had to then find a new host and transfer the site. Given how big this one is with all the components, it was a daunting task. One I wasn’t looking forward to. Apparently once portions of the site were moved, the new host had a failure on one of the servers. The one this one was on. I had to reupload from the backup I had and nothing was going right including the connection from my laptop to the server. Did I say ghosts in the machine? The site remained dormant for this time.

With Tamara’s work on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as AVA VITALI a daily event, I became burned out with trying to keep things up-to-date, and my recording device died on me. Also I just cannot get into soaps anymore. I know that’s Tamara’s bread and butter, but I can’t take all the demon possession storylines, and if truth be told I don’t like her storyline. Running a site has its pluses and minuses, and one of those minuses is when the webmaster doesn’t like the thing the subject of the website is on. Namely: I don’t like Ava being out of Steve’s sphere. Plainly I’m an Ava and Steve shipper. I want them to have been given a chance and I’m tired of the “Ava raped Steve” stuff. I don’t like that Ava’s backstory has been shifted around to the point it makes little sense for the actual timeframe she’s been on. I know that’s the nature of soap operas, but at some point they’ve got to make sense. Otherwise it’s a lot of eye rolling and holding ones nose. Another thing that has taken up a lot of my time is I’m writing my first novel. The researching has taken a lot of time and I’ve also been battling a health issue not COVID related, and some personal issues I will not go into.

Now onto the update: I’ve managed to get the main site and gallery back up. Everything is all smoothed out and working normally. I’m in the process of trying to get the media/video section back up and working. I’m having to upload the videos in batches because the server times out if I try to do them all at once. I hope to have the media section back up within the next few days. I had an issue with trying to get the online content software working hence the on-again-off-again nature of that section. I’m in the process of transferring the press section to a different method based on the rest of the site and the new theme I’m using throughout. This will make the site a little more streamlined and make my job a little easier. This again will take some time, and I’m sorry about that. I’m also trying to establish a good filmography section that will take into consideration Tamara’s full body of work.

That’s about it for now. My apologies for not having been present and for not updating you on the status of the site. I hope this helps to try to explain what’s been happening. As for now, take care and be safe.

I know it’s been a long time since I posted and the site has been a little wonky of sorts, but there have been a lot of things happening behind the scenes that have been maddening. First I told you a bit back the site was hacked. I’ve been slowly combing through the site to remove everything. This has caused a lot of upheaval server side and a lot of work for me. Next is my partner has been sick. Things started in July and carried through into August and September and it’s been a bit of a trial trying to get her well. We’ve had spots of health, but things have come up that just made it harder to get back to posting and such. The other thing that happened is that my computer died and the hard drive was corrupted and I lost everything. All my Tamara Braun files and images that weren’t saved to an external drive were lost. It’s going to cost a ton of money for me to have a data recovery team recover anything they can. I’ve set up a Go Fund Me page where you can contribute to that to help: GOFUNDME. Any amount can help and it would be very appreciated. Lastly I’ve had to think long and hard about whether I wanted to continue given the hacking, lost files and all. This and a run-in I had with Tamara on Twitter where she misunderstood something I said and more ore less made me fell as if my dedication to her all these years was for nothing. I’m going to get back into these things slowly. I’m still feeling my way around in terms of how much I want to do based on whatever files I can get back, and how much I feel about my dedication to Tamara. I still love her, but I’m feeling a bit hurt by her belief I’m not a fan and by her fans’ thinking I am something I’m not. This because of an article appearing on a website proclaiming I was bullying her. This I think has hit me harder than anything else. So for now it’s baby steps. This all plus my feelings about her return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Kim when she should be playing Carly. For now I have some news for you that might bear on Tamara’s future on GENERAL HOSPITAL.

According to an article on Soap Dirt, Tamara may not be staying at GENERAL HOSPITAL as long as hoped. This site is reporting she will be departing after the Oscar (Garren Lake Stitt) Cancer story is done. This comes with a revelation on DAYS OF OUR LIVES that is hinting Ava Vitali may be alive, hence the title of the post. I’m hoping it is true since this would mean I could wrap up her current stint on GENERAL HOSPITAL and not have to keep defending my position on why I feel it was wrong to bring her back as anyone else other than Carly. I’m posting the article here for your consideration.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Ava Vitali Alive And Back From The Dead?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) might be the next character to come back from the dead. Recently fans saw initials on the doors in Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) warehouse. One door said “AV”. Could “AV” stand for Ava Vitali? Is she alive?

Although Tamara Braun is currently working at General Hospital, spoilers for the ABC soap indicate she’s leaving after a story arc and isn’t staying on GH for good. If so, that would leave her available should they decide to bring Ava Vitali back from the dead. Alternately, they could recast the character.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is also alive. He appeared to have committed suicide, in 2017, when confronted by Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) during their search for Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Clearly, Dr. Rolf escaped death. Presumably given the same shot that he gave Will.

Dr. Rolf is very valuable to the DiMera family. He is a master scientist. His loyalty to Stefano DiMera (the late Joseph Mascolo) clearly extends to the DiMera children as well. It appears that Dr. Rolf has been working closely with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to bring Salem residents back from the dead.

DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Trey Baxter) was behind the “ED” door in the warehouse. He’s since been moved to another room. Fans have since seen initials on the other doors. This new development has led DOOL fans to speculate who is behind each initialed door. Some initials aren’t that surprising but one door has fans of Days of Our Lives gossiping.

Days of Our Lives fans were also quick to notice the “AV” on the door and assume it means Ava Vitali is alive. Fans are wondering what Kristen’s motive for bringing Ava back from the dead would be. What purpose does she serve for Kristen DiMera?

Joey Johnson (formerly played by James Lastovic) is currently serving a prison sentence for killing Ava Vitali. If Ava is still alive what does that mean for Joey? Could this new development mean that Joey Johnson could be returning to Salem soon? Another possibility is that Ava will perish in the warehouse fire along with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) before anyone realizes she was really alive.

Joey isn’t the only Johnson who would be shocked if Ava was alive. Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) feels he missed out on so much never knowing his mother. This would give him a chance to really get to know his mother. If Ava is alive will Tripp finally realize everything he’s been told about his mother is true? Or is it possible that Ava would change her wicked ways if she knew her son was still alive?

If Ava Vitali is alive what does she have left? Tripp gave her entire fortune away. He wanted to show the world he was nothing like his mother. If Ava returns from the dead now she will be starting over. Will the love of her son reform her or will she turn her son into a master manipulator like herself?

I’m not sure if anyone was aware that Tamara made a guest appearance on the Amazon Prime show BOSCH starring the amazing actor Titus Welliver (Deadwood, Sons of Anarchy, Brooklyn South). I know I forgot to add it to Tamara’s upcoming projects in the sidebar. The reason for that I’ll tell you in a moment. Tamara played the part of Helen Archer, a former ex-military who is also a recovering alcoholic. It was only one scene but she was really good. For those who cannot get Amazon Prime, I have the clip in post for you. Though I would encourage you to go and get a subscription to Amazon Prime to watch the entire series. Now as for the site news (aforementioned reason). I’m planning on a revamp of the layout. I think this one has been up long enough. It’s lasted through Tamara’s three DAYS OF OUR LIVES runs and her ALL MY CHILDREN and I think it’s time for a fresh look on both the main site and the gallery. So please stay tuned for that. Reese & Bianca Still Having An Impact Abroad

The social impact of the Reese and Bianca relationship is continuing to have an impact abroad. On a Dutch soap opera a brochure showed up featuring an image of Reese and Bianca at their 2009 groundbreaking nuptials. Here is what was said about the show and the featuring of the brochure:

ALL MY CHILDREN’s Bianca (Eden Riegel) and Reese (Tamara Braun) were seen on Dutch soap opera GOEDE TIJDEN SLECHTE TIJDEN on Friday, on a marriage equality brochure. GTST fan and We Love Soaps contributor Mark offers us a recap:

Nuran Baydar (played by Toprak Yalçiner) and Rik de Jong (played by Ferri Somogyi) have feelings for each other. But because Rik isn’t muslim Nuran feels like she can’t be in a relationship with him. Both of them have started dating other people and both of them are rushing into marriage. Rik with Yvon Terstal (played by Terence Schreurs) and Nuran with Bilal Demir (played by Sinan Eroglu). Especially that last marriage is doomed because Bilal is actually gay.

On Friday Nuran went to a bridal shop to try on her wedding dress. Rik saw her through the window and couldn’t resist to enter the shop. As an excuse he said he wanted to pick up some brochures for Yvon. He wasn’t really paying attention to those brochures because one of them was the one about gay marriage.

When I saw the episode I didn’t notice it was Bianca and Reese. I saw it today when the show uploaded it on their website. The show always does this with letters, cards and photos that are used in the episodes as props. It’s a fun extra for the fans.

The brochure itself talks about how gay marriage has been legal since 2001, but that there are still a few differences between gay couples and straight couples. Like when a couple has children. Only the biological parent is seen as a legal parent. The other parent has to adopt the child to become a legal parent.

I think it’s amazing that the Reese and Bianca story is still having an impact, particularly on the global discussion on Gay Rights Equality. It’s only too bad Chuck Pratt didn’t see it the way we did and the way the world saw it. I’m proud of both Tamara and Eden’s work and how they managed to make Reese and Bianca so valid in today’s global discussion on the rights of those who do not share equality on certain levels. The whole aspect of inequality in terms of the issue of children from a gay or lesbian couple where the other parent has to adopt the child(ren) from the union still needs some work. What is bothersome is that while surrogacy is needed in the issue of sperm/womb donor, there should be no separation between the aspect of parenting. In whatever union that is — in terms of two women or two men — they are parents. Once that decision is made to have a child, end of story. It’s no different than that of heterosexual couples.

Well, I just got through watching the day-ahead episode of Tamara’s final day on DOOL and I can tell you, they did not kill her off. Taylor lives and has gone off into the Bollywood sunset with Quinn (Bren Foster), Vivian (Louise Sorel) and the newly returned Ivan (Ivan G’Vera). Apparently Ivan is a producer in the lucrative Bollywood film industry and he returned to Salem to reclaim his Madam, Vivian. He has a private plane and along with Ms. Alamain, he’s taking Quinn and Taylor off with him. So Taylor has survived. I have to say, this farewell was way better than Tamara’s first go around as Ava. There is the chance Taylor might return, though considering this so-called ‘new’ path Ken Corday is taking this show on, I doubt it. I think the capper on this departure had to be the final scene Tamara as Taylor had with James Reynolds (Abe Carver). I’ve loved James since I first saw him as Abe back in the 80s, and to have her final scene be with him was sublime but bittersweet. I still think this reboot Corday has launched is a bit premature. All the exits in one fell swoop is a bit too much and to lose such a talent as Tamara is too big a hit. As of tomorrow’s actual NBC network airing, it’ll be my last for DAYS OF OUR LIVES. It’s been a good run, however, Tamara’s presence made the show watchable and for me her final day tomorrow means I’m done. In the coming days I’ll try to get her final months of episodes up in the gallery and in the media section. With not having to record each day it’ll be easier. I also really want to clear all the rough clips off my computer to make some room.
