Tamara has tweeted that today was her last tape date. According to what I’ve figured, her final airdate should be around Septebmer 23. I don’t know, but I’m sad to see her go. I blame Ken Corday for not seeing clearly enough to bring her back as Ava, not a recast Taylor. Though it’s been interesting to see her do something so totally different than Ava. Here’s hoping she has her next job all lined up.

I know it’s been a while since I updated, but with both my health issues and my apartment issues, I just haven’t had access to my recording devices and such to get the updates done. I’m hoping over the weekend to start that process. What the problem has been is someone in the building did something that caused a problem within the building that has affected many other tenants including my unit. My partner an I had to move out while some things were done, however, nothing is fixed fixed. If you know what I mean? There will still be a lot of interruptions this week and over the weekend, I have to prepare my unit for those repairs to take place so I’ll be off and on. I do apologize for not having anything for you. I’m sure you understand…shit happens.
And a blind item I thought you’d like to see. I’ve posted it to the Forum so you’ll have to sign up there to view it. If you are, please use a REAL username. You might notice the posting about Tamara’s family member Lauren Spierer is on the top of the main post page. I’ve moved it up as a sticky and it will remain there until Lauren’s disposition is known. I don’t want her to be forgotten in amongst all the other posts. This is important. I loved todays eppy with Tamara holding her own against Joseph Mascolo (Stefano DiMera). If anything this scene should be the one that keeps her on the show. Why? Not enough really strong women on the soaps these days. I loved how Taylor under Tamara’s deft handling didn’t become another one of Stefano’s dismissals. It seemed to me that Joe Mascolo was enjoying his ‘tit-for-tat’ banter with Tamara. To me, I really feel that Tamara’s time on this show was cut way too short. She needed more time to iron out Taylor’s past idosyncracies. This episode alone should have shown why Ken Corday has made a big mistake.

For those who were regulars at the SONY board, I finally found out what happened. Apparently their boards were hacked by the same people who hacked the Playstation Network. It may be weeks before their boards are back up and running again. Likely all our posts might be gone. But there you are.
