I’m calling out to all of Tamara’s fans who have clips of her soap roles. I’ve set up a video site for Tamara’s work. I’m going to be adding her soap opera work very slowly due to the sheer volume of work she contributed to GENERAL HOSPITAL, ALL MY CHILDREN and DAYS OF OUR LIVES. I have all of her time on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Ava Vitali from both 2008 and her return 2015/2016. What I have most of her work from ALL MY CHILDREN as Reese Williams, however, I don’t have her final two months. As for Taylor Walker from her DAYS OF OUR LIVES stint from 2011, I don’t have most of her final three months. And for Carly Corinthos on GENERAL HOSPITAL, pretty much all of her time from 2001-2005. While I have her time as Carly on a long running DVD format, I don’t have her individual airdates. So I’m calling out to her fans for those resources if you have them. I’ll include what I need below in terms of specific dates.

Some new event images from April. Tamara attended the Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Nominee Reception on April 27. In a couple of these images Tamara is pictured with Natalia Livingston who played Emily Quartermain on GENERAL HOSPITAL and who preceded Tamara in the role of Taylor Walker on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

Some Good News

Some things have been going on behind the scenes you might not be aware of, but I’ve been mulling something over in this brainium of mine and I decided something that I think you’ll all be very happy about. This decision has to do with something you guys have been writing to me about for a while. That thing is, I’ve decided to reactivate the two media sites I had on Tamara. So what does this mean, exactly? It means that for right now I decided to get the soap opera site back up and running first. It’s taken the better part of the week to get all the bugs worked out and tonight I finally got those exterminated and the site is now back up. Right now there are no new videos added. What is up there now are some episodes of Tamara from ALL MY CHILDREN as Reese Williams, and the majority are of her as Taylor Raines Walker from her second go around on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. My main impetus currently is to get all her work as Ava Vitali up considering her upcoming return in December…oh why does that have to be so damn far away? A Personal Thank You to Tamara and To Dawn

First of all I need to say this. My 91 year-old mother died on Saturday morning, the 16th of May at 1:50 am. I was called by the doctor at the hospital where I’d taken her the previous Monday, and told to get there as soon as I could. I tried to collect myself and headed to the nearby bank to get the money out for cab fare as I don’t have a car. While there two police officers who were in the variety store in the plaza asked me if they could assist me. I was already balling my eyes out because I had a feeling of what was happening. This was about quarter after one that morning. I told them I’d been called and the dire necessity of my getting to the hospital. The man and woman officers promptly put me in the cruiser and drove me to the hospital, running red lights to get me there. I don’t know who they are, but I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Had it not been for them I wouldn’t have been there for my mom when she passed about thirty minutes later. I stayed with her and took the walk down with her before heading home around six am Saturday morning.

I debated whether to say anything on any of my social media accounts, or anywhere else for that matter. But I finally decided I would make a Twitter post about my loss. Sort of mark it in a way. Have at least a mention of it in my timeline as a memory of it. So I had some of my followers offer their condolences including one who I happened to meet, I think, on a message board for DAYS OF OUR LIVES when Tamara was on as Taylor Walker. Her name is Dawn Elicia. She was so sweet in offering her condolences, but she did something that I will never forget, she tweeted Tamara telling her about my mom and Tamara had this to say:

I want to thank Tamara so much for taking the time to say this. You have no idea how much this meant to me. The next two weeks are going to be difficult with the funeral later this week and the settling of her matters next, but I know for a fact that this will carry me as I navigate the difficult emotional waters these next few days. Tamara you are the best. Dawn, no words.

“Supernatural” – E8X14 Trial and Error Media

All I can say is that Tamara was a whole ball of fun in this episode. I adored her as Cindy Cassidy who is as Tamara described her, “A washed up country singer who has quite a contentious and sassy relationship with her father. One of three sisters, I played the firecracker.” And did she ever. The only issue I have with Cindy is that she called my Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), “Ken doll.” Too funny. For some background information on the episode I thought I’d give you a crash course on SUPERNATURAL‘s history. Someone attached to the Cassidy family made a deal with what is known as a Crossroads Demon, someone who can grant any wish, however, you have to sell your soul to them. As a part of the deal you’re granted a ten year reprieve in order to live whatever life you wished for, but as part of the payment when the deal is up, the Crossroads demon comes for you. In the episode it’s revealed that the demon was THE demon of Hell, Crowley played by Mark L. Shepard. For the past four years Crowley has sort of been the Big Bad of the show. He’s caused Sam played by Jared Padalecki and Dean Winchester played by Jensen Ackles more than their share of trouble. When the deal comes due the demon sends his/her hellhounds to bring in the deal maker who is then pulled into Hell. It’s not the nicest of deaths but this is Crowley. Want to know the kicker of this episode? Jensen Ackles got his first start on the soap opera DAYS OF OUR LIVES where he played the part of Eric Brady (now played by Greg Vaughan) who had fallen in love with a certain Taylor Raines Walker, then played by Katherine Ellis (August 6, 1998 to May 24, 1999). Of course we all know Tamara went on to play the part. I’m wondering if Tamara mentioned this to Jensen who has gone on record as saying if this SUPERNATURAL thing didn’t work out, he could always go back to the soap. Not now Jensen, and SUPERNATURAL has just been renewed by the CW for a ninth season. Lucky for us fans. Now onto the irony of this situation. You know my love for Mitch Pileggi and how I want Tamara and Mitch to do something together? Well Mitch once played Sam and Dean’s grandfather, Samuel Campbell. A further six degrees is that this coming week on Mitch’s show DALLAS, Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy) goes on trial for attempting to murder Mitch’s character Harris Ryland. Why is it six degrees? The name of the episode is called…you guessed it Trial and Error. You can’t make this stuff up.

As promised, I have a couple of press additions for you. the first is an article Tamara did back in April 2012 from Soap Opera Digest where she discusses her magical time with preparing for her play Tennessee In The Summer, plus her meeting President and Michelle Obama at the White House, her attending the Kennedy Center Honors and the Grammys.
