With Tamara returning to daytime and DAYS OF OUR LIVES in her Emmy Winning Role as Ava Vitali, so goes the press. Here are the scans from the recent edition of Soap Opera Digest. I won’t be copying the article to the press section since it’s not with Tamara herself. Instead you can click on the images below to go to the scans and read them yourselves. Enjoy.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Tamara is returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Ava Vitali. This might have something to do with the return of Lucas Adams as Tripp. Here’s hoping our girl gets to do more than be a villain this time around. I’m hoping they return Ava to her 2008 post-psychosis roots. I’m also hoping we might have something to do with another little one considering she and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were together. I will be recording and screencapping for the site. I’ll have more to say in a future post, but I will be returning to regular updating. A lot has been happening of late and I’m trying to get back into the swing. So here we go for another round of Ava.

Exclusive! Tamara Braun Back To DAYS.September 2, 2020 3:10PM
Emmy-winner Tamara Braun will be reprising the role of presumed-dead Ava Vitali, Digest is reporting exclusively in the new issue. Look for her to factor into Tripp’s story now that Lucas Adams is also returning. “Tamara Braun [Ava] is coming back and that’s important, not only for Steve and Kayla, but for her son, Tripp, and others to be determined,” previews Executive Producer Ken Corday. “Mr. Carlivati [head writer] has a big story there. It’s exciting.” For more about Braun and all of the changes DAYS has planned now that it’s back in production, pick up a new issue, on sale Friday.
I’ve got some new scans for the gallery and two new articles added to the press section. First is a small interview with Garren Stitt (Oscar Nero) who gave an exit interview on his departure from GENERAL HOSPITAL. Here he shares his love for the fans and for the chance to play this story, but most especially he shares his love for Tamara. Next is an interview with Tamara on filming Oscar’s death scenes and her shared mutual love for Garren and how she’ll miss him. The final two are one page of Tamara with Garren at the NATAS (National Academy and Television Arts & Sciences) event. Lastly a couple of letters mailed into Soap Opera Digest’s Mailbag section on Oscar’s passing. Those last two will remain as just scans since there is no real interview with Tamara. New scan for the gallery press section. I’m not including the text of this in the actual press section as it’s not really long enough for that. I will include it here though. Tamara was asked what she would do if she won the lottery. Her answer was funny in typical Tamara fashion.

Finally finishing up the backlog from 2018/2019, here are the final scans for the gallery. Most are just small blurbs with Tamara. One in particular is a retrospective with Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) where she gives some colour commentary on Alexis’ past including a photo of Tamara as my beautiful Carly in the elevator scene when it stopped and Carly tried to get out through the escape hatch in the ceiling.
