I’m posting this to make an appeal to someone who keeps signing the Welcome Back Tamara page with different names and emails. I will no longer be approving your posts. Why? While I understand how enthusiastic you are at Tamara’s return to DAYS, I do not want to provide you the further ability to spam the page. And that is what you’re doing. You are spamming. How do I know it’s you? Each time you sign anything on a blog or message board, you leave behind a physical manifestation of it by your IP address. That is your computer’s address that was assigned to you when you signed up for internet service through your provider. When I set up this page for Tamara’s fans to tell Tamara how they feel about her return to daytime, it wasn’t meant for one person to habitually sign in and leave the same message, within a few changed words to try and make it look like it’s not the same person, again and again and again. While I understand you are happy about Tamara’s return, as most of her fans are, what does it serve to keep leaving the same message over and over again? All it does is dilute the meaning. So as of now your continued postings will not be approved. And if you continue to spam this site, because like it or not that’s what you are doing, I will be forced to ban your IP from viewing. In the history of this website, I’ve never had to do this to anyone and I don’t much like having to do it. You would also be banned from viewing anything on OBSCURE MEDIA and a new media site I’m setting up for Tamara’s soap opera work. Please don’t make me have to do that.

So Nikki Ann, Jeana, Trisha, Candy, Alyssa and any other names you plan on using, you’re on notice. Anymore spamming and you’ll be banned from this site and this ban will be permanent.

We finally have a first airdate for Tamara as Taylor. According to SoapCentral.com it’s April 26. Mark that down on your calendar and remember, TAMARA OBSCURA will be giving daily screencaps and clips for Tamara’s work.

I want to thank Maria for the information. Thanks Maria for passing this on. I’m sure all Tamara’s fans appreciate it.

I’ve scanned and added two additions to the press section. Both have been typed up and added to the press section and the scans can be found linked on the page to the gallery. The one article concerns the recast of Taylor, the other is a letter from an AMC viewer who is very disgruntled with the way the Reese and Bianca storyline is ending on the show. I can’t say that I disagree with anything that was said. I’m going to provide the links to the new additions, but I wanted to hilight the letter by Quin Hodge in Oxford, Miss. Here it is in its entirety:

Trying to make All My Children‘s Reese the enemy or bad guy, like she doesn’t care about Bianca or their marriage anymore, is one of the most insulting things the show could do. It is repeating the same pattern that Bianca’s relationships have followed too many times before. Someone always leaves her, and the relationship ends in a devastating way. We still remember how much Reese loves Bianca and how she would give up anything for her and the kids. She would never give up on Bianca’s love or their her family with Bianca! And, furthermore, to have all this happen through off-screen conversations and phone calls is really just a slap in the face. There is no logical reason for AMC to do that. Instead, just recast Reese. There is still time to undo this damage, and not ruin the only gay marriage in daytime TV, and show that AMC and ABC actually care about gay representation. Bring Bianca’s wife back to her and their family.

I think the way both Reese and Bianca plus Tamara and Eden have been treated has been deplorable. The fact that Tamara and Eden were promised one storyline, but got another shows the reasons why they didn’t want to reup for more when ALL MY CHILDREN relocated to Los Angeles. Then Brian Frons, Julie Hannan Carruthers and the current writing staff at AMC wonder why Tamara has re-signed with DAYS and Eden signed with THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Can we blame them?

Holy cow, soap fans! Emmy winner Natalia Livingston, who debuted as Taylor in January, has been replaced! So just who will play Nicole’s little sis now? Fellow Emmy winnder Tamara Braun! Oddly, Braun acted opposite Livingston on GH (where they played Emily and Carly, respectively) and even won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role as Patch’s crazy ex, Ava, on DAYS in 2009.
