With Tamara returning to daytime and DAYS OF OUR LIVES in her Emmy Winning Role as Ava Vitali, so goes the press. Here are the scans from the recent edition of Soap Opera Digest. According to Soap Opera Digest, Tamara is returning to DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Ava Vitali. This might have something to do with the return of Lucas Adams as Tripp. Here’s hoping our girl gets to do more than be a villain this time around. I’m hoping they return Ava to her 2008 post-psychosis roots. I’m also hoping we might have something to do with another little one considering she and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were together. I will be recording and screencapping for the site. I’ll have more to say in a future post, but I will be returning to regular updating. A lot has been happening of late and I’m trying to get back into the swing. So here we go for another round of Ava.

Exclusive! Tamara Braun Back To DAYS.September 2, 2020 3:10PM
Emmy-winner Tamara Braun will be reprising the role of presumed-dead Ava Vitali, Digest is reporting exclusively in the new issue. Look for her to factor into Tripp’s story now that Lucas Adams is also returning. “Tamara Braun [Ava] is coming back and that’s important, not only for Steve and Kayla, but for her son, Tripp, and others to be determined,” previews Executive Producer Ken Corday. “Mr. Carlivati [head writer] has a big story there. It’s exciting.” For more about Braun and all of the changes DAYS has planned now that it’s back in production, pick up a new issue, on sale Friday.
I’m trying to get Tamara’s episodes for GENERAL HOSPITAL cleaned up from the severe backlog. I’m sorry for them not being up when they aired, but I sort of got a bit demoralized because I so want Tamara playing Carly. While I watch I love seeing Tamara, but I don’t see Kim and never will. I see Carly as a doctor. Something that should have happened since Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) works at the hospital. A progression of Carly’s character should have been for her to go back to get some sort of medical training after he showing up in Port Charles as a physio therapist. I don’t think it would be that hard to take a leap to say that Carly could become a doctor and I know that’s something Tamara would have loved for Carly. So there’s that. Also to let you know while I’m trying to get caught up, I have a lot of personal things going on right now so it might not be as quickly as you like. It took me the better part of the day to get July 2018 done. Also I do have some scans to go up in the gallery. Those will be up as time permits. Right now I’m concentrating on the backlogged episodes and screencaps. You can find everything located at the links below. And by the way I’m post-dating the episodes to the dates they aired to keep the continuity of the storyline.
I’m going to try to start to get Tamara’s work as Kim Nero up in the gallery. I’m sorry for the laxness in getting those done, but I’ve been really busy and still a little down Tamara isn’t playing Carly. Darn it, I want to love Carly again. I’m in the process of editing both the clips and screencaps. Pleasee be patient while I get this done. Hopefully it’ll be soon. Keep checking back.
Some new scans for the gallery and the text to the press section. In the first is an article where Tamara discusses the rigors of playing out her current storyline of a mother losing her son. Tamara mentions what kept her sane was the love of her two pooches Little and Pearl. For the second time in less than a month, ABC Soaps In Depth awards Tamara a Gold Star for portraying Kim’s grief over losing Oscar (Garren Lake Stitt). Those of us who knew her as Carly will know how many times Tamara was awarded for her amazing work and dedication to portraying Carly’s inner humaneness and her humanity. I miss my Carly so much.
