I was able to find some stills of Tamara as Anya in the upcoming Tom Pankratz film LIMBO LOUNGE. All I can say is that she looks positively amazing. I love the look she has. Totally unlike any of ther other film characters, or for that matter, her episodic television work. I’m so looking forward to this film. I truly do think that Tamara’s going to show us something different than she’s played before. I can honestly say I’m hoping this is out on DVD soon. I know I won’t be able to see it in Canada.
I know, there’s been a serious lack of updates here other than the design change (which may or may not be permanent), but there’s been a lot going on in my life of late that’s been unavoidable. There’s been some illnesses in my family between myself, my partner and my mother, it’s been hard to be on the computer. I’ve tried to keep up with Tamara’s latest works with appearances and such. I have a lot of images to update as far as stills from her work on ALL MY CHILDREN and new publicity images, plus a lot in terms of updating the PRESS section and OBSCURE MEDIA to try …. try to clear off the backlog on my computer to store in external sources. So please, bear with me for now. I’ve managed to get a copy of Tamara’s latest work on SAVING GRACE as Renee Ellen. Considering it doesn’t air here in Canada, I’ll likely have HD images in the gallery from the third season DVD release before it even airs on regular television here. I’ve also gotten a hold of Tamara’s two UN-HAPPILY EVER AFTER episodes where she played Nell and Lacy. The clips are now up at OBSCURE MEDIA for you to see. The quality isn’t all that great. The channel I recorded them off of doesn’t have the greatest reception despite it being an HD station. But beggars can’t be chosers. I’ve also updated teh FREDDIE channel on OM with all four of Tamara’s episodes from FREDDIE as Rose, the Baker. I’m wondering if Rose would be a good fit for Damian Lewis’ character Milo in the film THE BAKER?
As you can tell, I’ve done a site update…or overhaul as the case may be. I know the image of Tamara is from 2004 during her Carly years, but hey, it’s Tamara! I hope you enjoy the new design and the new doodads I’ve added. I’ve still got a lot to replace from the other template, but I’ll be working on that throughout the weekend. According to Tamara’s fan club president, Tamara has landed a recurring role on the TNT drama SAVING GRACE starring Holly Hunter. I’ll just post what Debbie O’Connor said in her email and leave it at that. I’ll have something new up this weekend. Keep an eye out. And congratulations Tamara. Announced today by Tamara Braun’s fan club president, Debby O’ Connor, Tamara has landed a role on the original series on TNT, Saving Grace. The role of Renee Ellen is a recurring role on the popular weekly series, starring Emmy award winner, Holly Hunter.Tamara Braun probably most known as Carly Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital, she has also portrayed other roles on popular daytime dramas including Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives, and most recently, Reese Williams, girlfriend of Bianca Montgomery’s (Eden Reigel), on ABC’s All My Children. Tamara is no stranger to primetime serials either, she has appeared on such primetime shows as Freddie, House M.D., CSI:Crime Scene Investigation, Ghost Whisperer, and Without A Trace.Details regarding Tamara’s new role on Saving Grace are not known at this time. I just wanted to drop a little note to let you know that the coding issues are almost fixed. Happy news….yes? Not so fast. Seems my brand spanking new computer has developed a little glitch and has to go back to the shop to have a hardware issue fixed. After this posting, I’ll be packing it back up and bidding a tearful farewell for about 4-7 days (the agonizing period of time I’ll be parted from him). So until then, there will be no real updates or additions…. I know, like there’ve been any for a while! Yeah, I got the evil eyes burning through cyberspace. but I got your numbers…. So until baby comes home, I’ll either be in denile, withdrawal, or an institution of my partner’s choosing. (Think Alice Cooper’s From the Inside album and the song “The Quiet Room” …. The Quiet Room/Is sterilized and white). I’ll be checking in periodically to my email account to see if there’s anything I should see to through my partner’s computer. I just wanted to give the heads up that I’ll be working on the site this weekend. Nothing will be down, but I want to tweak some of the pages and get some coding that will be easier to work with than what I currently have. As I said, nothing will be down. I’m also in the process of getting some new material up in the form of articles, photos, and other things. So again, so sorry for the lack of updates. As for the tweaking, don’t worry if you see things happening that don’t look right. It’s just me toiling around in the background. Take care.
