I wanted to share this with Tamara’s fans. In the latest edidion of Soap Opera Digest, there is a letter from a fan who had this to say:GIRL POWERWords cannot express how amazed I’ve been by ALL MY CHILDREN’s Eden Riegel (Bianca) and Tamara Braun (Reese) recently. The range of emotions from both actresses from anger to hurt, is what makes their story real and relatable to the audience. I applaud AMC for making the effort to showcase that Bianca and Reese are not a picture-perfect couple because they, too, have issues that still need to be addressed to solidify their loving relationship. TJ, New YorkHad to share this with you. It seems Tamara and Eden are affecting how people view this storyline. I loved what TJ had to say about how real the actresses are making the story. I couldn’t agree more. Alongside all the other stuff they’re dealing with in terms of Zach’s brooding over Kendall’s condition and the whole thing surrounding Josh’s holding Reese hostage, I’d say that that word ‘real’ has been used many, many, many times in most of the positive things I’ve read both in print an online, speaks to the fact that lesbian/gay love is just as normal as hetero loe. Kudos to Tamara and Eden for showing us that. On another note, I thought I’d share with you what Tamara said about the upcoming spoiler about Zach catching Reese in the altogether. In the same SOD issue, Tamara said this: “There’s nothing between them but a close friendship.”That should put all those ugly things circulating on the internet about Reese being ‘bi-sexual/after Zach/after Kendall’s life/being a woman named Heather/a secret member of the Cambias family/a secret scheamer’ and any other number of silly comments to rest. Thanks Tamara for keeping to your guns and continuing to be true to both yours and Reese’s hearts.

“Better late, than never!”My extreme apologies for not having these up on the day, but for some reason, life decided to take me on a different path these past few days. I don’t get it nor do I completely understand it. The only thing they share is that Tamara played both. Nothing more. I wanted to apologize for the lack of updates, but with the water yesterday, my still feeling wonky and my mom with the flu, and computer problems plaguing me, the last couple of days have been to say the very least, hinky. My apologies for not updating over the weekend. I had the post all written then for some stupid inexplicable reason, I deleted it. Dumb I know….. I’m also still feeling under the weather. This intestinal bug is just hanging on for dear life and making my life a misery. But as they say, onwards and upwards. Can I say how much I’ve loved Tamara in the last couple of days. I adored how she told Erica off. Her “ten husbands” comment had me on the floor giggling with glee. And the way Zach (Thorsten Kaye) stood up for Reese to Erica. Priceless! And today with Reese’s comment about Bianca and hotel room beds is like “Princess and the pea”. Good all around. I’m a happy camper. I’d have to say though, Tamara had me in tears. Her scenes as Reese with Gabby were just heartbreaking. And I truly have to say that Bianca was being a bit of a snoot today accusing Reese of wanting to be with Zach. I could have smacked her! I do understand Bianca’s been let down by her past relationships, but Reese isn’t one of those. She’s here to stay and that’s what makes me sad for someone like Bianca. She doesn’t see the Golden Reese (a play on the golden fleece) she has. I really do wish they’d played out Reese’s returning to Paris. To make Bianca have to do some fast apologizing. With the return of Kendall (Alicia Minshew) due this week and according to the preview (you’ll find it in the sidebar), it looks like it’s going to be a big week for the Kane/Montgomery/Slater family so any type of Reese/Bianca angst is going to take a backseat. Behind again! Mucho sorry….. Reese: I like Erica.Greenlee: I don’t, let her rip!I loved that interchange yesterday between Reese and Greenlee. It’s so funny, I really wasn’t too thrilled with Rebecca Budig given how ABC and Brian Frons handled the whole “Real Greenlee” campaign and how Ms. Budig’s predecessor Sabine Singh was treated so unfairly in light of Rebecca’s return, but I can truly say I’m loving this alliance between Greenlee and Reese. Finally, Reese has a supporter on her side. And I love how supportive Ryan (Cameron Matthison) is being of both Reese and Bianca. I know, I know…this is Ryan The Thongman. I get it, but I love how Ryan and Greenlee are more or less helping Reese and Bianca and I loved how Ryan told Bianca not to do what she’s going to be doing in testing Reese and Zach. I personally think it’s juvenile of Bianca to do this. While I do understand her reasons for believing that Reese will take off on her or at the very least, turn straight on her, I cannot understand the reasoning for writing this story. It does a great disservice to this ‘groundbreaking’ story in terms of making it seem as if gay/les/bi people are somehow more fickle than straight people. Of course, it’s ‘soap operaish’ to do this, but come on, Bianca believing she has to set a trap for the two people she claims to love! Hello and welcome to 2009. So sorry for the lack of updates but I’ve been getting over an intestinal bug that’s kind of kept me down since before New Years. Though I’ve been trying to get the screencaps done and the clips up at OBSCURE MEDIA, that’s about all I’ve been doing. I’m hoping you had a restful holiday season and are ready for 2009. I know I am.Okay, not too much to talk about this time around. I’m so far behind that I think it would be hard to really encapsulate what’s gone on since I last updated. I think I’ll just say that I’m so glad that Zach (Thorsten Kaye) is sticking up for Reese and telling Erica (Susan Lucci) to get her nose out of Reese and Bianca’s business. I will also say that I’m so glad the writers have finally nailed down on screen what the exact nature of Reese and Zach’s relationship is. No more speculation about Reese wanting to jump Zach’s bones or Zach wanting to make out with Reese. I think the word Tamara used is platonic. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Now of course according to the previews for this week (can be found in the sidebar under “Featured Video”) there’s more speculation that Reese and Zach will ‘have it on’. All I can say is OI! Enough with the teasing. We know it’s not ever gonna happen. Tons of stuff for you in this posting. So without further adieu, I’ll get to it. One note though, I’m not going to be including the usual screencaps from the individual days. Considering how far I’m behind in posting, it’ll take up too much space. So here’s the update….
